RANDY CHAMBERS
President

Mr. Chambers is Astex Environmental Services' President. He manages the firm's financial and administrative duties. Along with Mr. Greenberg he manages operations for the firm. He coordinates projects and interfaces with the client and with the contractors. Additionally, he manages the marketing functions of the company.

His background includes over 32 years of executive level management of several billion dollar companies within the United States. He has worked with the Private Equity firms of Parthenon Capital and Texas Pacific on various projects.

    RON GREENBERG
    Chief Operating Officer and TDSHS Consultant

    Mr. Ron Greenberg is Astex Environmental Services, Inc.'s Chief Operating Officer, and is the primary financial/developmental principal and director of policy and operations management. As Astex Environmental Services Inc.'s Asbestos Consultant, his responsibilities include Project Management, Bid Specifications, Risk Analysis, and Operations and Maintenance Planning. In addition, he coordinates all aspects of the company's projects and interfaces between the contractors and sub-contractors on behalf of the client. He also conducts and supervises Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and Lead Based Paint Surveys.

    His background includes Chief Operating Officer of several specialty businesses and several small startup companies in which he performed all company duties of development, operations and marketing. In addition, he was one of four Principal/Partners for Paragon Properties, Inc., a commercial real estate brokerage firm that had sales/leasing exceeding 400 million dollars.

    DEBORAH CHAMBERS
    Secretary/Treasurer

    Ms. Deborah Chambers is the Secretary/Treasurer for the Corporation. In this role, she manages the Finances and Human Resources for the Corporation. She is responsible for finance, banking operations, day-to-day accounting, payroll management and Human Resources.

    Her background within the banking industry (Frost Bank and Citizens Bank) has equipped her with the knowledge and experience to handle these responsibilities.

    BENJAMIN HERNANDEZ
    Environmental Scientist

    Mr. Benjamin Hernandez conducts or manages all aspects of environmental site assessments including the inspection, collection and interpretation of suspect asbestos materials, lead-in-paint, and related sample results in schools and commercial buildings. In addition, he performs occupational and safety surveys of industrial environments to include radiological monitoring, noise, illumination, ventilation, toxic substance, and air contaminants sampling. Other responsibilities include soil and water/wastewater sampling, and testing, disposal, and remediation of contaminates, i.e., PCBs, TPH, VOCs, etc. In addition, he is responsible for water/wastewater projects.

    Mr. Benjamin Hernandez has a background in the technical and management aspects of environmental sciences with training in occupational safety and health, environmental compliance monitoring, industrial hygiene, water, wastewater, air and hazardous waste projects.

    JOSEPH J. LARKIN
    Staff Professional Engineer

    Mr. Joseph Larkin is a Professional Engineer / Industrial Hygienist, test certified by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene in comprehensive practice and is an expert in indoor air quality assessments, remediation and environmental design. His managerial expertise is in budgeting, planning, implementing and administrating safety and health systems. During his career he has developed a close relationship with key government officials in OSHA, EPA, NIOSH, BOM, MSHA, and NRC. His responsibilities include the preparation and administration of contracts awarded by government agencies.

    BACKGROUND: Thirty-two years experience in the environmental and plant maintenance engineering fields. Of these, approximately thirteen years were spent within industrial corporate and plant environments, and nineteen years as environmental and plant maintenance consulting engineer. Responsibilities within these positions included approximately twenty years experience in technical and administrative management roles.

    11/87-3/97: Independent Environmental Engineering Consultant. Served as project manager for soil and groundwater assessment and cleanup, wastewater treatment plant process and facility design, construction and operation. Designed and implemented operations training programs.

    2/95-10/95: Operational Technologies, Inc., Senior Project Engineer responsible for process and equipment design for groundwater extraction and treatment at the Massachusetts Military Reservation in Cape Cod, MA.
